576 new WooCommerce stores have gone live so far today, as of 06:31 UTC on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The day is not finished, so this keeps climbing until midnight UTC.
At the same hour yesterday the count was 642, so today is running behind yesterday's pace. A full day finishes near 2,442.
Why a part day misleads
Compare a few hours against a finished day and you will conclude launches have collapsed, when all you measured was the clock. That is why yesterday at the same hour sits next to today above. It is the only fair comparison available while a day is still running.
Why same day matters more on WooCommerce
A new WooCommerce store is usually someone's own installation on their own hosting, which means more of the early decisions are still open than on a hosted platform. Hosting, security, backups, speed, payment setup, none of it is handled for them. Those decisions get made in the first days and then stop being decisions.
Counts come live from FisherLeads, which confirms each store is genuinely new and live. See also yesterday's complete figure.
